Fireside Camping

Fireside Camping works in Partnership with Recreation Sites and Trails BC to manage Camp Foley Group Site, Chipmunk Peninsula, Rapids, and Tamihi West Recreation Sites on behalf of BC Campers in the Chilliwack River Valley.

Located along the winding Chilliwack/Vedder River surrounded by mature cedar and fir trees, our rustic family friendly Recreation Sites offer equal opportunities for rest & relaxation, and access to off-road adventures.

General Information

All guests and visitors must check-in with Site Host and arrive READY TO CAMP
Each campground offers a mix of reservable (online only) and first-come first-served sites (cash only)
Gates are locked between 10pm-8am and will only be opened outside those times for medical emergencies
There is no water or garbage collection on site. Come prepared.
Every vehicle or additional party, including visitors require a paid permit and are issued at the Host’s discretion.
All vehicles, sleeping units and trailers must fit on the developed portion of your site.
*Firewood is available for purchase at Host site.

Daily Schedule

8 am	Campground Opens. -Gate unlocked. Quiet time ends.
8 am-10 pm	-Generator hours, limited. See policy. -FCFS Check-ins, as available.
12 noon	Check-out or extend permit with Host.
2 pm	Reservations start checking in.
9:30 pm	Visitors vacate, (vehicles and persons)
10 pm	Campground Closed. -Gate locked at Hosted sites -No Show Policy in effect. Affected sites become fcfs.
11 pm	Quiet time starts. All music off.
