Campground & Staging Area
Tamihi Creek, West Campground has 88 sites and is conveniently located just 20 minutes outside the growing city of Chilliwack along the Vedder River. It is a popular choice for off-road enthusiasts and anglers alike, and provides campers with both tenting and rv site options. The West Campground contains a large open grassy area for bocce, soccer or just letting the kids run around.
The Tamihi Staging area is monitored by On-sites at Tamihi West Campground. It is open all year. While day parking is allowed, overnight camping and camp fires are not.
Getting Here (Driving Directions)
Follow Trans-Canada Hwy 1 East from Vancouver and take exit 119A onto Vedder Road.
Travel to the 3-way Stop just before the Vedder Bridge then turn left onto the Chilliwack River Road. Travel approximately 12 km to just over the Tamihi Bridge where you turn right after the bridge onto the Liumchen Creek Forest Service Road (FSR). The entrance to Tamihi Creek (East) is just off the intersection of Chilliwack Lake Road and the Liumchen Creek FSR, the entrance to Tamihi Creek (West) is approximately 375 m past this junction.
