Campground Policies

Our Campgrounds are managed in partnership with Recreation Sites Trails BC. Our policies reflect theirs and are aligned with the Forest and Range Practices Act.

Please familiarize yourself with the following policies:

No Holding Campsites Policy: Campers must arrive ready to camp and be on site each night

Campers must arrive ready to camp. If you are not prepared to stay upon arrival, or for every night of your stay, a permit will not be issued. If an unpaid site is found being ‘saved,’ or if a paid site, including ‘reserved’ sites, are unattended overnight, items may be removed at the owner’s expense and the site released as first-come first-served.

Campfire and Firewood Policy: Maximum campfire size is 0.5m x 0.5m. Burn clean wood only.

Campfires are only permitted in designated fire rings, and fire rings must not be moved. Burning of deadfall scavenged from the recreation site is not permitted, nor is the burning of treated, painted or nail-riddled wood including pallets. Use of chainsaws are also not permitted on Recreation Sites. Unattended campfires must be cool to the touch, or they may be documented, extinguished and reported to BC Wildfire.
